Mrs. Stanley was our Sunday School teacher at Vogel Day Methodist Church when we were first saved. She was a precious servant of God. I have special memories of her teachings. I am sure that she inspired many in their walk with God. Sharleen & Ronald Wright. Shelbyville, Ky.

To the Stanley Family,
I am so saddened by the loss of Miss Edith. I was fortunate to have known her for a very long time. She was a wonderful servant of God, her community, and her family. She was a heck of a maker of Ice Tea and some tasty food. My deepest condolences to the family.

Eddie and Patricia, My deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear mother. Mrs. Stanley was one of the dearest people in my life. She was my Sunday school teacher, my confidant and counselor for many years and my mentor. I always thought of Mrs. Stanley as my spiritual mother. I have wanted to thank her so many times for all she taught us of her wealth of special knowledge. I learned so much from her and Pastor Stanley and they hold a special place in my heart forever. Love and prayers to all of you.
