Angie and I used to laugh so much when we were younger. We would sing songs from the 80’s like “Private Eyes” and “I Ain’t Missin’ you at All”... we’d change lyrics and be silly. We have had our fair share of disagreements, but That’s how relationships are. Angie had a soft heart.
I was Angie’s Lamaze coach when she had her second baby, Aleisha. I had just gotten off work and was walking into the house garage at 11:30 pm and Keith came to the door and said Angie is at the hospital in labor! Lol. I was so tired but changed clothes grabbed some snacks and headed back to Pikeville Hospital.
We were there allllll night. Angie had back labor so I massaged and rubbed and encouraged and breathed all that crazy puffing (which made us laugh once the contraction slowed). Finally, we got our Aleisha Leighann. She was just precious. Angie said I “marked her” because when she was older and standing in her crib sometimes when you spoke to her she would turn her head and look away! Ignore you! Lol. Stubborn!
Angie and I had a connection that was always there after the birth of that baby girl. Now she is with Aleisha and all is well for them both.
Much love to her mother and daughter for comfort and peace.
