Ruby loved to love people. She never met a stranger. She shared her love through food, quilting, and was very active in the life of Grace Baptist Church of Pikeville, KY until her dementia made it impossible for her to continue to live on her own.
She enjoyed being outdoors and caring for her flowers. She would talk about the beautiful the clouds and trees. I remember dozens of times riding in the car with her she would quote her favorite poem, Trees by Joyce Kilmer.
She was a loving mother and is survived by her son, Keith Tibbs (Susan), and her 3 daughters, Belinda Gee (Doug), Melissa Goff (Ray), and Susan Tucker (Robert). Adored Nanny of 5 grandchildren: Sarah Wilson, Jessica Tibbs, Christian Tibbs, Lydia Goff and Anna Tucker.
She (and her husband Bill) instilled in her children a strong work ethic and good Christian values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
