Obituary for Sammy Goff

Sammy  Goff
Sammy Dola Goff, 84 of Pikeville, KY passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born June 4, 1933 in Pike County, KY to the late William Harrison & America “Ratliff” Goff.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Callie Glema “Sanders”Goff; two brothers, Marvin Goff & Foster Goff, one sister Glema Rowe.

Sammy is survived by his loving children, one son, Tony Goff, his wife Lois; two daughters, Gail Smith, her husband, Neal & Julie Goff all of Pikeville, KY; three sisters, Juanita Wilson, Joann Geiese & Bobbie Rasnick; four grandchildren & five great-grandchildren.

Sammy was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel for visitation only, Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 6PM-9PM and Monday, May 28, 2018, with an evening service at 7PM with a special speaker starting, Jarrod Hunt then Brian Horton officiating.
Funeral services will be at the Grace Baptist Church, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Kaminski Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery on Chloe Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Grace Baptist Church at Shelbiana, KY.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home.
