Obituary for Herman Coleman

Herman Coleman
Herman Coleman, age 69, of Lower Pompey at Shelbiana, KY, passed away at his residence, Saturday, November 18, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Harless and Pluma “Green” Coleman in Pike County, KY. April 19, 1948.
Herman is preceded in death by both his, parents. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Patsy Coleman; one son, Doug (Christy) Coleman of Pikeville, KY; one daughter, Anita (Robby) Justice of Pikeville, KY; three brothers, Homer (Bonnie) Coleman, Walter (Inis) Coleman and Foster Coleman; four sisters, Cleo (Buster) Thacker, Opal (Howard) James, Joyce Curry, and Helen Marrs; three grandchildren, Amanda (Jonathon) Hopson; Reese (Ashley) Little, Keaton Justice; and two great grandchildren, Harper and Julie Hopson.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew, loved, and treasured him.
The family of Herman will accept friends Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home starting at 6PM with services starting at 7PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 2:00PM with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating. DAV Honors will be conducted by Johns Creek Chapter 166. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
