Obituary for Robert "Bob" Justice
Robert “Bob” Edward Justice age 81, of Upper Chloe Creek passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017.
Robert was born November 27, 1935 to the late Anna Elizabeth Justice and Charles Edward “Buster” Justice.
Robert was a resident of Pike County where he lived his life as owner of “Bob’s Chain Saw Sales & Service.”
Robert was president of Pike County Farm Bureau. He was a member & ordained minister of the Chloe Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. He also served as moderator of the church.
Robert was preceded in death by loving & devoted wife Joyce Ann Justice, parents, Charles Edward “Buster” & Anna Elizabeth, two brothers, Richard Don Justice & Charles B. Justice.
Left to mourn his passing are two daughters, Roberta “Cookie”(Mark) Bouffard of Kingsport, TN, & Tammie Sue “Justice” (Robert) Little of Upper Chloe Creek; two brothers, James “Jimmy “ Curtis Justice & Phillip Wayne Justice; three sisters, Dorothy Thacker, Betty Smith, Mary M. Thigpen. Robert was a tender grandfather to five grandchildren, Tony Branham ll, Rachel Logan, Shay Anna Hutchinson, Tessa Dwainia Monique Wiener & John Robert Little; along with six great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Ann Logan, Marcus Reece Logan, Brayden Branham, Hadley Branham, Peyton Isaiah Little, Hudson McKinley Addam Wiener.
Robert was a loving father, grandfather & brother, he truly blessed every person that he came in contact with.
Visitation will be at the Thacker Memorial Chapel beginning at 6:00 PM, Monday July 17, 2017 with services at 7:00 P.M. with open visitation Tuesday July 18, 2017 with services at 7:00 P.M. The funeral will be held at Upper Chloe Creek Old Regular Baptist Church, Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with brothers Fitch Reed, Herman West, Ted Honaker, James Tackett, Jimmy Dale Sanders, Glen Hall, Jerry Overstreet, Robby Osborne & others officiating.
Pallbearers are; Eddie Thacker, Ricky Thacker, Mike Thacker, Terry Smith, Eddie Smith & John Robert Little. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, give to the Upper Chloe Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.
